CAIRO 20 August 2020: Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry made phone calls with his Italian and Omani counterparts on Wednesday, discussing the bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.

 

Over a phone call with Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio, Shoukry discussed ties and areas of regional issues of mutual interest, including the situation in Libya, the Palestinian-Israeli case, said Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Hafez in a statement.

 

Both officials discussed preparations for upcoming bilateral meetings to tackle regional issues in the region, Hafez said.

 

On another phone with newly-appointed Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, Shoukry congrats him for the new position, Hafez said in another statement on Wednesday.

 

The two ministers agreed to strengthen and expand the bond of the bilateral realtions between both countries.
