CAIRO – 2 August 2020: In a phone call with Egyptian counterpart, Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Naser al-Mohamed al-Sabah said that his state would review the decision it had announced Saturday on suspending flights from Egypt.

The ministers also discussed the status of Egyptian and Kuwaiti expats in both states.

EgyptAir has decided to suspend all scheduled flights to Kuwait as of Saturday until further notice.

The national carrier detailed in a statement that such a step comes after the decision of the Kuwait’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to suspend flights with 31 countries, including Egypt, over the coronavirus outbreak.

EgyptAir urged all clients to check their scheduled flights to Kuwait.
