KUWAIT CITY, July 25 (MENA) - Kuwait's Directorate of Civil Aviation said Saturday that 1,895 stranded Egyptians in the Gulf country flew home on board 12 flights.

In a press statement that MENA received, the directorate added that six flights carrying 1,005 Egyptian nationals headed for Cairo and three other flights with 435 Egyptians on board left for Sohag.

Two flights carried 310 Egyptian citizens for Assiut and one another with 145 Egyptians on board left for Luxor, the directorate said.

The flights are operated by AlMasria Universal Airlines, Kuwait's Jazeera Airways, Air Arabia Egypt, FlyEgypt, the Kuwait Airways and AirCairo, it added.
