CAIRO - 20 July 2020: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah el-Sisi received a message from Yemeni counterpart Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi on ways of enhancing the bilateral relations in various sectors, stated Egyptian presidential spokesperson Bassam Radi in a statement on Sunday.

Yemeni Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed delivered Hadi’s message to President Sisi on Sunday.

President Sisi expressed Egypt’s support for the legitimate Yemeni government and the unity of Yemen, affirming that the stability in Yemen is an integral part of Egypt's and the Arab region’s security, particularly in the Red Sea, in accordance with the international legitimacy resolutions, the Gulf initiative, and the outcomes of the national dialogue.

Yemeni Prime Minister Saeed reviewed the latest developments in his country, government efforts to bring peace and stability, and the challenges facing the Yemeni people due the deteriorating humanitarian situation, Radi said.

He also praised the good treatment that the Yemeni community is receiving in Egypt, particularly in the health sector.

The Yemeni prime minister paid a two-day visit to Cairo, during which he discussed several issues of mutual concern with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and officials.
