KUWAIT CITY, July 15 (MENA) - Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said Wednesday 870 stranded Egyptians left Kuwait to Cairo, Sohag, Assiut and Alexandria governorates on board six flights.

A statement issued by the CAA, a copy of which obtained by MENA, said the flights included one ferrying 145 Egyptians to Sohag, two with 290 Egyptians heading to Cairo, two carrying 290 Egyptians to Assiut and one carrying 145 Egyptians to Alexandria.

The flights were organized by Kuwait Airways, Air Cairo, Air Arabia Egypt, Kuwait Jazeera Airways and FlyEgypt.

On Tuesday 990 Egyptians stuck in limbo due to the coronavirus pandemic left Kuwait to Cairo, Assiut and Sohag on board six flights.
