The virtual meeting, convened at a Jordanian invitation, stated unequivocal rejection of the Israeli plan on the grounds that it violates international law and undermines the two-state solution, Dr. Al-Hajraf said in a press release.

He reiterated the call for international pressures on Israel to force the Jewish country into budging from the decision and abiding by the principles of international law and peace.

"The GCC maintains that Palestine is an issue for the entire Arab and Muslim nations and stands by the Palestinian people in their struggle for establishing a sovereign state within the borders of pre-June 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital," he added. (MENA)
