CAIRO - 8 July 2020: A new airway from Malpensa Airport in Milan, Italy to Alexandria, Egypt has been declared by Italian airliner Wizz Air, according to Italian news agency Nova on Wednesday.

Starting from Sept. 17, the company will fly three airplanes a week to the Mediterranean city of Alexandria. Milan is also a city where many Egyptian migrants are concentrated.

Egypt has already opened the country for tourists with firm measures against Covid-19, such as minimizing occupancy at hotels, sanitizing standards and obligatory masks on staff. It has also provided attractive packages for tourists and travel agencies.
