Prime Minster Madbouly inspects new roads, axes in 6th of October City

CAIRO – 6 July 2020: Egypt’s Prime minster Mostafa Madbouly directed, Monday accelerating completion of all maintenance and development work in 6th of October City roads and axes.

During inspecting number of new roads, axes and bridges which are being implemented in the 6th of October, he said that ending all these work quickly will serve large number of people and will facilitate their movement and activity, as well as linking Greater Cairo with a number of other governorates, to facilitate the movement of people and merchandise.

Madbouly was accompanied with, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem El-Gazzar, Giza Governor Major General Ahmed Rashid

The premier inspected the Middle Ring Road which included two sectors; the first is linking Oasis road with Fayyoum governorate, whose cost reached LE 918 million, while the second will link Oasis road with the end of the green belt of the 6th of October City, whose cost totaled LE 1.5 billion.

El Gazar briefed the premier on the industrial works which are currently being implemented at the Middle Ring Road, adding that all works will be finalized by July 15.

The premier also inspected the Southern Ring Road at investments reaching LE 950 million and length extending to 22 kilometers. The project is part of the ring road which links all districts and areas of the 6th of October City and its industrial zone.
