Mufti: July 3rd is crucial day in Egyptian history

CAIRO - 3 July 2020: Mufti of the Republic Shawky Allam said on Friday that July 3rd, 2013 was a very important and decisive day in the history of Egypt.

In press statements, he added that on that day the Egyptian people foiled a conspiracy against the homeland and its national security that was plotted by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group.

He pointed out that the Egyptian people expressed on that day their rejection of the political leadership of that terrorist group and staged protests expressing their refusal of this group's rule of Egypt

On that day, he added, the Egyptian Armed Forces sided with the Egyptian people and supported their demands.
