Long Live Egypt provides 200 ventilators since pandemic outbreak

CAIRO – 29 June 2020: Long Live Egypt Fund has provided 200 ventilators to support medical teams at isolation hospitals since the outbreak of the pandemic, in coordination with the Ministry of Health.

Mohamed Mokhtar, the spokesperson of Long Live Egypt Fund, said in TV statements that the fund’s initiative supports the ministry’s efforts to provide all the necessary equipment for isolation hospitals, through convoys of medical supplies, such as providing one million surgical masks, half a million N95 masks, and lots of tons of disinfectants.

He further added that the needed supplies at other private hospitals will be provided as part of the fourth phase of the fund’s initiative.

Mokhtar also said that the fund’s initiative aims to consolidate efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
