Egyptian PM reviews report on Unified Government Complaints System in May

CAIRO - 12 June 2020: Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli reviewed Friday a report, introduced by the Unified Government Complaints System about its performance in dealing and responding to citizens’ complaints in May 2020.

Madbouli thanked all the employees of the Unified Government Complaints System over their efforts in quickly tackling the complaints of the citizens, especially amid the current pandemic crisis.

The total number of complaints submitted through the system in May amounted to 206,000, up 16 percent from April, Director of the Unified Government Complaints System Tarek el Refaei said.

Up to 202 thousand complaints were reviewed so far, el Refaei also said, adding that 181 thousand complaints were directed to the bodies concerned, while 21 thousand others were reserved according to the applied rules.
