CAIRO, June 7 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Sunday reviewed with Trade Minister Neveen Gamea the standards of manufacturing the cloth face masks as well as documents required from factories to get the manufacturing approvals.

The premier asserted the importance of manufacturing the largest possible quantity of the washable cloth face masks to be available at markets in light of the decision that obliges citizens to wear face masks in public places to halt the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Gamea, for her part, pointed out to the underway cooperation with the minister of state for military production to boost the production of the medical face masks and designate a production line to serve the purpose.

She added that many factories in Port Said manufacture the face masks.

During Sunday's meeting, the minister reviewed standards prescribed by the Ministry of Health as well the documents the factories need in order to get approval for manufacturing the face masks.
