CAIRO - 3 May 2020: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said on Sunday that the 10th of Ramadan victory embodies the ability of the Egyptians to crush the impossible by wise planning and courageous implementation.

"The anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory is one of the greatest days of Egypt's modern history that was created by the military and its memory will always be remembered," the president posted on his official page on social media websites.

“Hence, it has become an inspiring model and action plan to pass all difficulties into a better future.” he continued.

Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki sent a cable of greetings to President al-Sisi on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan (October War) victory.

In the cable, Zaki praised the heroic role played by Egyptian servicemen on this memorable day to defend our homeland and uphold the Egyptian will.

Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid also sent a similar cable to Sisi to greet him on the same occasion.

Meanwhile, Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam greeted the president and Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki and all Egyptians on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory.

Delivering a speech on this occasion, Allam said that the unity, integration, and sacrifices of all Egyptians were the main reason for this great triumph.

This spirit is needed at all levels to help the country achieve comprehensive economic, social, and political development, Allam added.
