Egypt's Azhar Univ. president: Health care workers undergo COVID-19 test

CAIRO, April 6 (MENA) - Chairman of Al-Azhar University Mohamed el Mahrasawy on Monday said that the university is keen conducting COVID-19 tests for all those involved in health provision at the university affiliated hospitals nationwide.

Within this context, Vice President of Azhar University Mahmoud Seddiq paid inspection tours of several affiliated hospitals in Cairo to follow up ongoing efforts to disinfect the healthcare facilities as part of the state's measures to contain the coronavirus outbreak.

The tours included El Hussein and Sayed Galal University hospitals.

The university's crisis management committee is closely following up the implementation of all precautionary measures at its affiliated healthcare facilities, Seddiq said.
