Egypt records 40 new COVID-19 cases, 6 deaths

CAIRO – 28 March 2020: The Egyptian Ministry of Health said Saturday that 40 new cases have tested positive for COVID-19, including one Jordanian national, to raise the number of Coronavirus patients in Egypt to 576.

The ministry confirmed 6 more deaths, five Egyptians and one Italian.

The Ministry’s statement added that 5 cases for Egyptians have recovered from the novel virus, to raise the number of recovered to 121.
