KUWAIT CITY, March 10 (MENA) - Well-place sources with Kuwait's Health Ministry on Tuesday denied a statement circulated on social media allegedly issued by Kuwaiti doctors claiming the detection of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases among the Egyptian community that have returned to the Gulf country from Egypt recently.

In statements to MENA, the sources confirmed that no coronavirus cases have been reported among the Egyptian community that have arrived to Kuwait, so far.

Any confirmed cases are being announced on daily basis, the sources added.

Only two coronavirus cases have been detected among Egyptians living in Kuwait, the sources said, adding that the first reported case was for an Egyptian - coming from Azerbaijan via the UAE - who hasn't visited Egypt throughout the past six months.
