Awqaf min. leaves for Geneva to attend conf. on protecting youths from extremism

CAIRO, Feb 16 (MENA) - Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa headed to Geneva on Sunday to attend the International Conference at the United Nations under the title of "Protecting Youth from Extremist and Violent Ideologies."

The conference is due to be held on February 18-19.

Gomaa is scheduled to hold talks with organized by the Egyptian mission in the UN.

These include a meeting at the Inter-Parliamentary Union with the director of a joint program between the union and the United Nations on combating terrorism, extremism and violence.
