CAIRO - 26 January 2020: Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek al-Mulla inaugurated the first integrated station in Egypt to supply cars with natural gas and liquid petroleum and charge electric vehicles in Port Said Governorate.

This is an Egyptian-Italian joint venture implemented by the petroleum sector represented by Gastec, and Italy's Eni

This is the first investment for the Italian company in Egypt in the field of setting up fuel supply stations for cars.

Mulla emphasized that the project comes within the framework of the Ministry of Petroleum's strategy to improve services provided to citizens in the field of fuel supply.

The minister pointed out that the company is set to expand in the construction of gas supply stations in the governorates of the canal during the next 3 years, where it plans to establish 10 new natural gas supply stations in these governorates.
