CAIRO - 21 January 2020: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi met with Prince William, duke of Cambridge and the son of the crown prince, at the Royal Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, according to a statement released by presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady.

President Sisi expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome, praising the extended Egyptian-British cooperation.

President Sisi stressed Egypt's aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations with UK, particularly in the fields of tourism and education, as well as on the economic and commercial levels, by maximizing the volume of British investments in Egypt.

For his part, Prince William welcomed President Sisi, praising the measures taken by the Egyptian Government to reform the economy and the major national projects that were implemented.

Prince William stressed Britain's keenness to support Egypt's development efforts in all fields through the exchange of experiences and joint investments.

Prince William praised the pivotal role played by Egypt to establish stability in the Middle East and Africa, achieving inter-religious coexistence, and supporting peaceful solutions to crises in the region.
