CAIRO – 17 June 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi approved on Thursday the proposed design of the Money and Business neighborhood designed to attract international and global enterprises in the New Administrative Capital.

“The presidency’s spokesperson ambassador Alaa Youssef stated that the president met with Minister of Housing, Facilities, and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly and the CEO of the construction company Dar El Handasah Mohamed Yehya Zaki on Thursday,” according to El Watan newspaper.

The meeting reviewed updates of the residential neighborhood in the new capital.

Youssef added that Madbouly presented the Money and Business neighborhood design and the project facilities executive plan.

According to El Watan newspaper Madbouly presented a proposal on connecting the New Administrative Capital with other governorates by a 533 km railway line from Ain Sokhna city, passing through the New Administrative Capital and the Sixth October City till Alexandria and Alamein cities.

Madbouly also reviewed the construction works done in the new cities, including the new touristic zone in the New Alamein City, 7 km along the sea coast and 2 km deep.

He also presented the designs of New Mansoura City, 20 km parallel to the sea coast and planned to include a residential city. An update of the executed infrastructure in the cities of Western Qena and Western Assiut was also provided by Minister Madbouly.
