DAMASCUS - 28 Dec 2019: The Syrian army has removed all landmines planted by militants in Idlib countryside, northern Syria, said Syrian Field Commander Mohsen Idris on Saturday.

Syrian sappers cleared and dismantlement all explosive devices planted by armed groups in the homes, streets and roads of Idlib countryside to obstruct the advance of the Syrian troops, the commander added.

The latest confrontations have inflicted heavy damage and casualties on the armed groups in Idlib countryside, the commander said, adding that the militants couldn't carry out any counterattacks.
