CAIRO, Dec 11 (MENA) - Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad said that "the Africa we want" can be reached only via strong and promising youth aware of the importance of the environment.

This came on Wednesday during her chairmanship of the "Africa Day" session in the UN Climate Change Conference.

The youth are the real hope for all the states of Africa, Fouad said.

Fouad asserted Egypt's pioneering role in Africa via the initiatives launched in the field of renewable energy and the initiative of adaptation in Africa which was launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. (
