CAIRO - 5 December 2019: Speaker of Egypt's House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal on Wednesday asserted that Egypt is keen to provide all kinds of support to South Sudan in the health field under the initiatives launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in this regard at the level of the African continent.

During his meeting here with South Sudanese health minister Riek Gai Kok, Abdel Aal said that the Egyptian delegation is visiting South Sudan to get acquainted with the facts on the ground and offer real support.

Abdel Aal affirmed the importance of activating cooperation with South Sudan and transferring Egypt’s expertise in the health field to the brotherly country.

Meanwhile, the South Sudanese minister lauded the Egyptian delegation’s visit, asserting that Egypt has translated its stances in support of South Sudan into practical actions.

He also expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s constant support to South Sudan in the health field, stressing that there is no health system in South Sudan without Egypt.
