CAIRO, Nov 29 (MENA) - Antiquities Minister Khaled al Enani on Friday held separate meetings with the Greek and Chinese ministers of culture on means of boosting cooperation to counter illegal trade and trafficking in antiquities.

According to a statement released by the Antiquities Ministry, Enani reviewed with Greek Culture Minister Lina Mendoni the possibility of inking a bilateral agreement on the illegal trafficking in antiquities.

The antiquities minister also mulled with Chinese Culture Minister Luo Shugang the prospect of organizing a conference on fighting the illegal trade and trafficking in monuments, in addition to fostering cooperation in museum affairs, the statement added.

Enani is currently on a visit to China to take part in the third ministerial meeting of the Forum of Ancient Civilizations
