CAIRO – 13 November 2019: Ministers of education and tourism on Wednesday signed a protocol of cooperation that aims to spread tourism awareness among school students. Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli witnessed the signing of the protocol.

The agreement comes within the framework of the efforts of the state and the political leadership to highlight the importance of the tourism sector in supporting the national economy and providing new job opportunities.

The protocol also aims to discourage students from negative behaviors towards tourists, and encourage positive values while dealing with the visitors.

Minister of Tourism Rania al-Mashat said the protocol would contribute to informing students about the tourism sector, which may encourage them to aim for working in such vital field in the future.

This comes is in line with the broader objective of the structural reform program for the development of the tourism sector to employ at least one member of every Egyptian family in the tourism sector and related activities, Mashat added.
