TUNIS, Oct 12 (MENA) - The phase of electoral silence started on Saturday in Tunisia, a day before the presidential election runoff kicks off in the country.

The runoff will be between professor of constitutional law Kais Said and businessman Nabil Karoui.

Tunisian expatriates continue casting their ballots in the election runoff for the second day.

All activities of electoral propaganda are prohibited throughout the electoral silence phase.
