RAMALLAH, Aug 19 (MENA) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas issued Monday an order terminating the services of all his advisors regardless of their title or ranking.

Abbas also decided to abolish the decisions and contracts related to them, and to suspend the rights and privileges they received in their capacity as advisors.

Abbas issued an order obliging the prime minister and members of the former 17th government to return the money they had received during the period prior to his decision regarding their salaries and gratuities. The order also says that this money should be paid back in one lump sum, said the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

He also decided to consider the amounts subsequently received after his decision as gratuities.
