UN secretary general condemns terrorist attack in Cairo

CAIRO, Aug 6 (MENA) - Secretary General of the United Nations António Guterres strongly condemned the deadly terrorist attack in Cairo late Sunday night.

Guterres extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the people and government of Egypt, according to a statement issued by UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric on Tuesday.

Guterres wished a speedy recovery to those who were injured, the statement added.
