SIS launches portal to correct understanding about human rights

CAIRO, July 10 (MENA) - The State Information Service (SIS) has launched a portal including a database of all local, regional and international information about human rights.

The portal provides information in Arabic, English and French, said SIS chairman Diaa Rashwan Wednesday.

The information on the portal is being updated around the clock, Rashwan also said.

It is meant to promote correct understanding of human rights, taking into consideration the economic, social, cultural and political aspects, the SIS chairman noted.

The portal is concerned with human rights studies and could be accessed through the website hrstudies.sis.gov.eg, Rashwan said.
