CAF praises Egyptian fans at Cairo stadium

CAIRO, June 22 (MENA) - The Confederation of African Football (CAF) lauded the good behavior shown by Egyptian fans at the end of the Pharaohs' first Group A clash against Zimbabwe in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), hosted by Egypt.

"Here's a clip of the Egyptians making sure everything stays nice and clean... What a gesture!!" CAF said on its official Twitter account, sharing a video of Egyptian fans cleaning seats of the Cairo International Stadium after the match.

Egypt top Group A with three points after defeating Zimbabwe 1/0, before Uganda face DR Congo in their opening round on Saturday.
