Weather Forecast: Hot weather, high humidity dominate Cairo, Delta

Cairo - 11 June 2019: Mild weather is expected on Egypt’s western and eastern coasts, while hot weather will likely dominates the Nile Delta and Cairo to the north of Upper Egypt on Tuesday.

Poor vision is expected due to foggy weather conditions in the morning on areas northern Egypt, where low and medium clouds will also be present. Most of the wind will be moderate northwesterly and will be active on the northeastern coasts.

Mahmoud Shaheen, an official at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority told Egypt Today that temperature in different areas of the country are still in the normal range despite the increase, adding that temperature will likely decrease starting Wednesday.

Shaheen said that high humidity, which has risen gradually as Summer near, is the reason why people in the country feel hot. He noted that humidity exceeded 70 percent in Cairo and Nile Delta, while it exceeded 80% on the northern coasts.
