CAIRO - 1 June 2019: The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) signed on Wednesday a cooperation protocol with Gutmann Middle East LLC, and two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with EM TEST.

The protocol with the former aims at localizing modern aluminum manufacturing technology systems. AOI Chairman Abdel Moneam al-Tarras stated that the partnership consists of establishing Gutmann Egypt to fulfill the needs of the local market, development projects, and smart cities.

That is in addition to exporting to Arab and African countries through a joint shareholding company. The protocol also covers the production of cladding and building facade materials as well as holding training workshops.

The MoUs with the latter are for establishing a coalition encompassing EM TEST, AOI, and a number of national companies. The goal is to locally manufacture components, electrical circuits, and electronic devices necessary for smart operating systems and electronic fare collection systems. Those will be introduced in the Egyptian public transportation system within 2030 Vision on sustainable and integrated development.

The Gutmann Group is a German corporate specialized in manufacturing and selling high-quality aluminium products. EM TEST is a Slovak firm that produces fully compliant electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test equipment and systems.
