CAIRO - 17 April 2019: Sudanese authorities refused on Wednesday to receive a Qatari delegation headed by Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, after arriving in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, according to Youm7.

Sudanese sources revealed that the Qatari foreign minister and the delegation had to leave the capital to Doha after not being received by any Sudanese official.

Sudanese representative to the United Nation, Yasser Abdel Salam, said earlier today that what is going in Sudan is an internal affair, adding that the peaceful Sudanese revolution will realize eventually all its goals.

Former President Omar al-Bashir was toppled last week by a military coup following countrywide anti-government protests in Sudan.
