CAIRO, April 3 (MENA) - The Antiquities Ministry marked the World Autism Awareness Day by lighting up Luxor Temple area and the sphinx-lined road with blue for an hour.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry stressed its keenness on participating in the twelfth annual World Autism Awareness Day, which is marked on April 2.

Joined by the international community, hundreds of thousands of landmarks, buildings, homes and communities around the world, light blue in recognition of people living with autism.

Autism-friendly events and educational activities take place all month to increase understanding and acceptance and foster worldwide support.
