Shoukry discusses Palestinian cause with Bolton

CAIRO – 27 March 2019: Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, met Wednesday in Washington with the National Security Advisor of the United States, John Bolton, to discuss bilateral relations and regional topics in the Middle East, said Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Ahmed Hafez.

The discussions between the two officials focused on several regional topics on the top of them the Palestinian cause, where Shoukry asserted that a two states solution should be implemented according to Arabs’ peace initiative, added Hafez.

Egypt’s Foreign minister pointed out during the meeting that Golan heights is an Arab occupied land, he also called for solutions for the crises in Syria, Yemen, and Libya during his discussions with Bolton, said Hafez.

Shoukry had a series of meetings with American congressmen during his current visit to the US to discuss strategic relations between Egypt and the US, regional challenges, and investments opportunities in Egypt.
