CAIRO, March 24 (MENA) - An Arab League (AL) delegation will head for Tunis on Monday in preparation for the upcoming 30th Arab Summit, slated for March 31.

The summit's preparatory meetings are scheduled to be held on March 26, Arab League Secretary General's Spokesman Mahmoud Afifi said Sunday.

The summit's draft agenda comprises around 20 items and files so far, he said, asserting keenness on providing a favorable atmosphere for the media coverage of the event.

The Arab foreign ministers will hold a meeting on March 29 and on March 30 the Arab leaders will be welcomed in Tunis, he said.

The summit will be attended by UN Secretary General António Guterres, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, Head of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki and Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Yousef Al-Othaimeen, he added.
