BAGHDAD 22 March 2019: The number of victims of a ferry that sank in the Tigris river in the Iraqi city of Mosul reached 120, an Iraqi security source said on Friday.

Search operations for the missing are underway, AlSumaria news channel reported, quoting the source as saying.

On Thursday, dozens of citizens were killed and others missed after the ferry sank.

Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi declared national mourning across the country over the victims of the ferry disaster.
