CAIRO – 3 March 2019: The Chief Executive Officer of Youth Leaders Foundation (YLF), Ahmed Fathi, revealed Saturday the details of the student activity platform scheduled to be held on Tuesday at the American University in Cairo (AUC).

Fathi told Egypt Today that the foundation received students’ activities that focus on developing the slums, empowering society, manufacturing cars, improving education and enhancing agriculture. Only 50 activities have been picked to be displayed at the expected event, according to Fathi.

The event would include Ministers of higher education, social solidarity and communications and information technology, businessman Ahmed Abou Hashima would attend the event to represent the private sector along with an African Company, added Fathi.

The event would witness a panel discussion where students would have the chance to ask the state’s officials about the means available to bolster the activities inside all the Universities, said Fathi to Egypt Today.

According to Fathi, YLF made sure to select the students involved in the Universities’ activities in order to gain practical experience.

The CEO of YLF said that students face obstacles such as financial shortages and lack of communication with the government and therefore YLF decided to organize an event for the students’ activities in cooperation with the government and the private sector to address such challenges.
