CAIRO: 31 January 2019: Kuwaiti and Egyptian army troops started two military drills, code-named "Al-Yarmouk-4" and "Sabah-1" that will last for several days in Kuwait.

For the first time, Egypt and Kuwait conducted "Sabah-1" exercise.

As for "Al-Yarmouk-4" military drill, the Kuwaiti military said in a statement that the mock battles involve elite personnel, F-18 warplanes from the Kuwaiti Air Force and F-16 jet fighters from the Egyptian Air Force.

The exercise includes reconnaissance, theoretical and practical courses.

It also includes performing a number of offensive and defensive operations targeting vital sites to enhance the combat capabilities of the two countries.
