CAIRO - 15 November 2018: Latvian Ambassador here Iveta Šulca lauded Egypt for the great attention it is giving to supporting the rights of the youths, women and people with special needs via declaring 2016, 2017 and 2018 as years for them within the framework of Egypt's Vision 2030.

She praised relations between Egypt and Latvia, noting that both countries attained achievements over history in many fields.

Her remarks came in a speech she gave on Wednesday at a ceremony held to mark the 100th anniversary of establishing Latvia.

Šulca reviewed the history of her country during the celebration which was attended by a galaxy of public figures, ambassadors and diplomats accredited in Egypt.
