CAIRO - 29 October 2018: Minister of Communication and Information Technology Amr Talaat announced on Sunday, Oct. 28 launching the traffic violations payment service and traffic violation clearance certificate provision at Postal Service Centers in November.

Talaat told Egypt Today that the service will first be launched in Cairo for two weeks to ensure its technical readiness before launching it in all governorates.

He stressed that the step comes within the framework of the ministry's efforts to relieve pressure on citizens.

Talaat stated that the Post Authority can also receive grievances and inform citizens by text message whether the complaint has been accepted or rejected.

General Prosecutor Nabil Sadek and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Talaat attended on Oct.13 the signing ceremony of the protocol of cooperation between the General Prosecution and the National Post Authority to provide the traffic violations payment services.
