MANAMA - 28 October 2018: The Bahraini Foreign Ministry condemned Saturday's attack on a synagogue in Pennsylvania in which at least 11 people were killed and several others injured.

The ministry stressed on Sunday full solidarity with the US, especially to the measures it adopts to maintain security and peace.

Bahrain accentuated rejection of all kinds of violence and extremism.

The ministry expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished those injured speedy recovery.

A shooter opened fire during a baby naming ceremony at a Pittsburgh synagogue on Saturday.

At least six other people were wounded, including four police officers who dashed to the scene, authorities said.

Police said a suspect was in custody after the attack at the Tree of Life Congregation in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood. A law enforcement official identified the suspect as Robert Bowers and said he is in his 40s.
