MECCA - 23 August 2018: Saudi Prince Khalid Al Faisal, the governor of Mecca and president of Hajj central committee, said Saudi Arabia deals with various peoples and societies regardless of their countries' relations with Saudi Arabia

Al Faisal's statements came during an interview with Al Arabiya news channel aired on Thursday on the occasion of the Hajj season this year.

Politics are faraway from Hajj affairs, the Saudi official noted.

Al Faisal, the governor of Mecca added that the “decline in the number of violators this year is a great success, compared to the numbers in previous years, which amounted to half of the number of pilgrims.”

Al Faisal added that the procedures for the arrival of the pilgrim to Saudi Arabia did not take more than an hour, after many of the procedures are finalized in the country which the pilgrim is coming from.
