CAIRO – 14 July 2018: Egypt’s Meteorological officials expected a slight rise in temperature in Upper and Lower Egypt. Mild weather will be witnessed on Northern coasts, while Cairo will record highs of 36°C and lows of 25°C.

Clouds are low in northern Egypt. Winds are moderate northeasterly, active in Western coasts of the country and Gulf of Suez which may cause a disturbance in navigation there.

The Red Sea’s wavelength will be varied between mild to volatile, with 1.5 meters to two meters, and northwesterly surface winds.

The Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, with a wavelength of two to 2.5 meters and northwesterly surface winds.

Following is the weather forecast on Saturday in some governorates (in degrees Celsius);

Cairo: 35°C- 24°C

Alexandria: 31°C - 25°C

Luxor: 39°C - 26°C

Aswan: 39°C - 27°C

Qena: 38°C - 25°C

Hurghada: 38°C - 27°C

Sharm El Sheikh: 37°C - 28°C

Al Minya: 37°C - 23°C

Suez: 36°C - 24°C

Halayeb: 36°C - 30°C

Shalateen: 38°C - 28°C

Sunday Weather

Although Saturday will see a hot weather, weather forecast officials expected a good weather on Sunday in north coasts of the country. Temperature degree will remain almost the same in Cairo, with highs of 36°C and lows of 25°C.

Weather will be hot in lower and upper Egypt, with a slight decline in temperatures during the night.
The weather forecast for Alexandria is 31°C day, 25°C night, while in Marsa Matrouh 29°C day, 24°C night.
