GAZA CITY - 8 March 2018: An Egyptian security delegation left Gaza Strip Thursday via Erez crossing.

The delegation is expected to return to the enclave at the beginning of the next week, said well-informed sources.

Earlier today, the delegation met with Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister Ziad Abu Amr to probe means of implementing mechanisms of the Palestinian reconciliation.

It held meetings with a number of cabinet officials, leaders of the Palestinian factions, businessmen, students and graduates.

The delegation's visit comes within the framework of following up the reconciliation agreement inked in Cairo between Fatah and Hamas movements with Egyptian brokerage on October 12, 2017.
