Saudi Crown Prince: Muslims worldwide appreciate Copts

CAIRO - 5 March 2018: Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said on Monday that Muslims all over the world appreciate Copts.

This came during his historic visit to the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral and meeting with Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese.

The crown prince added that all Muslims know for sure Church's national role. He also offered his condolences to the pope over the victims of the Copts. Bin Salman also hailed Pope Tawadros' stance over the recent terror attacks that targeted the region, pointing out that leaders of Egypt, UAE and Jordan were able to confront such attacks.

During the meeting, he reiterated his country's keenness on continuing cooperation with the Church.
