CAIRO – 29 April 2017: Egypt's Minister of Agriculture Abdel-Moneim Al-Banna will discuss with his Sudanese counterpart cultivating 90,000 feddans (1 feddan = 1.038 acres) in the Blue Nile state, South Sudan, which will help achieve the agricultural integration in the Nile Valley, Saturday.

Banna flew to Khartoum on Friday to participate in the Egyptian-Sudanese Integration Company. The meetings are scheduled to last for two days.

Ahead of his visit, Banna stressed in press remarks on the deep historical relations, which both Sudan and Egypt share, and underscored the Egyptian keenness to foster bilateral relations.

Moreover, he mentioned the important role the company plays in advancing the agriculture development, which in turn contributes to serve people's interests.

The minster said that he will hold a number of meetings with agricultural professor Ibrahim El-Dekhiri, the Sudanese Agriculture Minister, along with other Sudanese officials in the agriculture sector.
