CAIRO - 24 February 2018: The Cairo Criminal Court decided on Saturday to adjourn until March 3 the trial of Muslim Brotherhood guide Mohamed Badie and 739 other leaders and members of the banned group for their involvement in the armed sit-in in Cairo's Rabaa el Adawiya Square.

The defendants are accused of possessing weapons, blocking roads, violating citizens' rights and vandalizing public property, holding an armed gathering in Rabaa sit-in, disturbing public peace as well as murdering a number of citizens and policemen, in addition to other accusations.

On 20 February, the Cairo Criminal Court also decided to adjourn the case until 24 February.

The court said its decision comes to complete hearing the testimonies of the witnesses.
