CAIRO - 24 January 2018: Tahya Misr Fund has launched a new humanitarian campaign that reaches out to least privileged people in villages and townships across the country.

Free foodstuffs will be distributed to poor areas in various governorates in cooperation with a number of civil society foundations, including Orman Charity Organization, Misr El Kheir Foundation and the Egyptian Food Bank, in support of their daily burdens.

More than 2.1 million indigent families will be targeted in the first phase of the campaign. Food packs will contain 2.5 kilograms of chicken meat and a bottle of vegetable oil.

Tahya Misr Fund has catered to relief aid and development needs through launching numerous humanitarian campaigns to support needy people across the nation and develop impoverished villages and townships in a number of governorates in cooperation with major civil development foundations.
