CAIRO - 19 January 2018: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi is set to answer citizens’ questions about his first four years in office, which were submitted via the website named “Ask the President”, from January 10 to 15 in the “Tale of a Homeland” conference’s last session on Friday evening.

The third and last day of the "Tale of a Homeland" conference, where President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi reviews the achievements made during his four-year presidential tenure, kicked off on Friday.

The first session of the conference addressed the axis of Egypt’s foreign policy under the president’s first term, efforts made by the government to eliminate terrorism and to re-build the state's institutions.

During the first day of the conference, President Sisi said he deemed his period as a president as a “rescue mission,” and tackled energy-related discussions and Egypt’s current economic challenges.

President Sisi took office in 2014 after protesters toppled the Muslim Brotherhood affiliated ex-president Mohamed Morsy in 2013. Sisi has not yet officially announced his candidacy for the presidential elections in March.
